Baseball

1A #1 Lafayette Central Catholic 12, 4A #8 Lafayette Jefferson 1 (6) – Brandon Adams went 3 for 3, but the Bronchos fell to their city rivals from Central Catholic in six innings. McCutcheon 11, Benton Central 3 – The Mavericks put the game away by scoring five times in the third inning.

Softball
4A #4 Hamilton Southeasten 10, Brownsburg  0 (5) – Sophomore Taylor Rager pitched a perfect-game for the Royals with seven strikeouts. Hamilton Southeastern is 2-1 in HCC play and Brownsburg is 0-2.

4A #14 Carmel 2, 4A #3 McCutcheon 0 – Tori Collins went 3 for 4 but the Mavericks dropped their opener of the Carmel Invitational against the host Greyhounds.

Westfield 15, Lebanon 5 (5) – Freshman Ginny Cooper hit a first-inning grand slam and went 3 for 3 with 6 RBI’s in the Shamrocks win. (Click here to read a recap of the game courtesy of the Noblesville Daily Times)

Lafayette Jefferson 1, Northwestern 0 – Freshman Skylar Sanders was the winning pitcher, tossing a three-hitter.

Girls Track & Field
Franklin Community Bill Self Invitational – #13 Hamilton Southeastern took first place with a winning score of 119.5. Perry Meridian was the runner-up with 114 points and Avon was 5th with 72 points. (Click here to read a recap of the meet courtesy of the Noblesville Daily Times)

Boys Track & Field
