Boys Basketball
Fishers 76, Indianapolis Manual 48 – Phil Miller had 20 points and 7 steals as the Tigers evened their record at 1-1.
Noblesville 46, Indianapolis Washington 45 – Zach Gentry led the Millers in scoring with 13 points as Noblesville improved to 2-0 on the season.
Westfield 59, Anderson Highland 39 – The Shamrocks opened up their season with a rout of the visiting Scots.
Girls Basketball
4A #4 Hamilton Southeastern 54, 4A #3 Carmel 49 – Brittney Wells scored a team-high 14 points to help lead the Royals past the defending 4A state champion Greyhounds. Courtney Osborn and Paige Smith each contributed 13 points as HSE remained perfect on the season at 5-0.
4A #6 Fishers 59, Avon 21 – Megan King scored 14 points for the Tigers as Fishers improved to 4-1 and 2-1 in the HCC. Avon, which was led by the 8 points of Katie Griffin, dropped to 4-2 and 0-1 in the conference.
Lafayette Jefferson 88, Marion 62 – Charae Richardson led all scorers with 35 points as the visiting Bronchos outscored previously unbeaten Marion 30 to 8 in the fourth quarter to improve to 4-1 on the season.
Westfield 31, Harrison (West Lafayette) 17 – Rachel Evans scored a team-high 11 points for the Shamrocks, who improved to 4-2 and 2-1 in the conference. Harrison, which got 11 points from Kelsey Barr, fell to 0-6 and 0-1 in league games.
Wrestling
Lawrence Central Invitational – Brownsburg tallied 167.5 points and finished in fourth place in the 8-team field. Lafayette Jefferson finished in 6th place with 111 points. #17 Roncalli won the meet with a score of 205.5 points.
