Staff Report
It was much
the same story Thursday evening in the boy’s sectionals that Hoosier Crossroads
Conference fans saw from the girls on Tuesday night. The league claimed two
sectional team titles and performed solidly from top to bottom.
At Lafayette
Jeff, the host Bronchos took top honors by posting 162 points. That easily
outdistanced second place McCutcheon which finished with 123.5. Harrison took
fourth place in the field with a score of 93.
At Carmel,
it was truly a case of same story, different night. The five HCC teams in the
field ended second through sixth behind team champion Carmel. However, the
order of the HCC squads was a bit different from the girls’ results. Zionsville
claimed second with 98 points, Hamilton Southeastern third with 91.5, Fishers
fourth with 72, Westfield fifth with 64, and Noblesville sixth with 60.
Avon took
the title at the Plainfield Sectional. The Orioles outscored second place
Brownsburg 145-104.

individual results from all the sectionals are available on the state pages of
