2A #2 Bluffton 61, Lafayette Jefferson 43 – The Bronchos, who played both games without leading scorer Jesse Berry, have now lost four out of their last five games to fall to 6-4.

Westfield 73, Kokomo 68 (OT) – The Shamrocks snapped a four game losing streak and improved to 3-4 on the season.
Carmel 59, Hamilton Southeastern 52 – HSE dropped its fourth straight game to fall to 4-4.
McCutcheon 52, Western 48 – McCutcheon improved to 5-3 with the win.

Girls Basketball
Huntington North Classic
4A #9 Hamilton Southeastern 72, East Chicago Central 23
Hamilton Southeastern 59, 3A #11 Hamilton Heights 41 – The Royals traveled north to Huntington and defeated county rival Hamilton Heights in the championship game of the tournament. Kelsey Lamb led all scorers in the game with 21 points in helping the Royals to improve to 11-1.

Avon Tournament
Warren Central 53, Avon 36
Avon 40, Jennings County 32 – Avon concluded its own tournament with a 1-1 record and now sits at 7-5 overall through 12 games.

Pike 57, Brownsburg 43 – The Bulldogs scored only seven points in the opening quarter and just five in the third quarter and fell to 2-9 on the season.

Harrison (West Lafayette) 63, Rossville 49 – Harrison upped its record to 3-4.
Nobelsville 63, Hamilton Heights 54 – Noblesville is now 5-1.

Zionsville Tournament
Zionsville 69, Kankakee Valley 30
Zionsville 63, 1A #6 Lafayette Central Catholic 61 – Zionsville is off to its best start since the 2003-2004 season at 8-1.

Avon 77, Northview 56 – Avon improved to 5-2.
Brownsburg 52, Ben Davis 49 – The Bulldogs won their fourth straight and now sit at 4-3.
Zionsville 77, Benton Central 50 – The Eagles are off to a 6-1 start.
4A #3 North Central (Indianapolis) 61, Hamilton Southeastern 57 – The Royals dropped their third straight to fall to 4-3.
Logansport 78, McCutcheon 72 (3 OT’s) – The Mavericks lost both games of a double weekend to potential sectional opponents and dropped to 4-3.
Taylor 46, Westfield 44 – The Shamrocks have lost four in a row after opening the season 2-0.

4A #5 Fishers 74, Zionsville 30 – Fishers improved to 8-1 (4-1 HCC) and Zionsville dropped to 2-8 (0-5 HCC).
Noblesville 68, Brownsburg 50 – Noblesville is 4-5 (3-1 HCC) and Brownsburg is 2-8 (1-2 HCC).
Lafayette Jefferson 72, Avon 49 – The Bronchos upped their record to 7-3 (2-2 HCC) and Avon fell to 6-4 (1-3 HCC).
McCutcheon 64, 2A #5 Winamac 51 – McCutcheon is 6-4.
Westfield 39, Western 34 – The Shamrocks won their seventh in a row to improve to 9-2.

Boys Swimming & Diving
Hamilton Southeastern Splash ‘n Clash Invitational – #3 Munster won the nine-team event with 590 points and the host #8 Royals recorded a fourth place finish with 311 points.
Hendricks County Meet – Brownsburg won the meet with a score of 337 points and Avon finished runner-up with 301.5 points.
Zionsville Invitational – #21 Muncie Central tallied 491 points to win the event, with host Zionsville finishing second with 476 points.

Girls Swimming & Diving
Hamilton Southeastern Splash ‘n Clash Invitational – #2 Hamilton Southeastern posted a winning score of 620 points to cruise to a 137 point win over runner-up #6 Homestead.
Hendricks County Meet – #24 Avon won the contest with 352 points and Brownsburg finished runner-up to the Orioles with a score of 314 points.
Zionsville Invitational – The host #14 Eagles clobbered the competition, winning by 239 points with a score of 640 points.

Hendricks County Tournament – #13 Avon edged Brownsburg by 9.5 points, 187.5 to 178, to take the title.

HCC Daily Scoreboard: Friday, December 19

Here is your Hoosier Crossroads Conference Daily Scoreboard for Friday, December 19.

Boys Basketball
Noblesville 61, 4A #8 Lafayette Jefferson 60 – Noblesville’s Michael Shipman scored on a layup at the buzzer as the Millers stunned the defending conference champion Bronchos. Noblesville improved to 4-1 (1-1 HCC) and Lafayette Jeff dropped to 5-2 (1–1 HCC). In addition, the loss by the Bronchos snapped their 10-game conference unbeaten streak.

Brownsburg 43, Avon 41 – Brownsburg evened its record at 3-3 (2-1 HCC) on the season by winning its third straight game. Avon, which fell to 4-2 (1-1 HCC), had a three-game winning streak halted by the Bulldogs. Click here to watch video highlights from the contest!

Zionsville 55, Hamilton Southeastern 42 – Zionsville held Southeastern without a point during the third quarter as the Eagles improved to 5-1 (2-1 HCC). The Royals suffered their second straight defeat and now sit at 4-2 (2-1 HCC) through six games.

Harrison (West Lafayette) 43, McCutcheon 39 – Harrison snapped a two-game losing streak by handing their Tippecanoe County and conference rivals a four point loss. The Raiders improved to 2-4 (1-1 HCC) and McCutcheon fell to 4-2 (0-1 HCC).

Carmel 72, Fishers 55 – The Tigers lost their fourth straight game and now stand at 2-5 (1-1 HCC).

Tipton 76, Westfield 53 – Westfield is 2-3 (0-2 HCC).

Girls Basketball
McCutcheon 58, Harrison (West Lafayette) 47 – The Mavericks won their second straight conference game and improved to 5-4 (3-2 HCC). Harrison (0-11, 0-4 HCC) is still in search of its first win.
